UFO'S

Mijna (van het borduurprikbord) had het plan om samen in 2010 ufo's (unfinished objects) af te maken. Ze plaats rond de 10e van de maand een overzicht van de vorderingen van alle werkstukken.

Dit leek me een leuk idee en ik ga meedoen met de Grand Marquoir. Ik heb inmiddels de eerste vier delen af en moet nog 2 delen (18 blokken). Ik heb er momenteel niet zo heel veel zin meer in en op deze manier schiet het toch elke maand een stukje op.

Helaas is het net niet gelukt voor kerst.

In het echt is hij veel mooier dan op de foto's.

Op de grijze stof zie je het wit bijna niet.

Zelf vindt ik hem erg mooi geworden!

Omdat ik bij Nenne's weblog http://nennedesign.web-log.nl/ een berichtje heb ik een "snoezepoes" gewonnen.

Dit deed me denken aan een werkje wat ik nog steeds heb liggen, het rolmaatje.
Ik heb het al een hele tijd geleden geborduurd maar nog steeds niet in elkaar gezet.
Omdat ik voor het eind van het jaar al dit soort werkjes gedaan wil hebben probeer ik het in de kerstvakantie af te maken. Hier is alvast het geborduurde deel.

This reminded me to a little work I still have finished we call it rolmaatje.I've been stitch it a long time ago but still not finish it. Because I try for the end of the year all such things would have done in I try to make it in the Christmas holidays. Here is already the embroidered part.

Sal de Navidad

Ik heb mijn Sal de Navidad af. Ook heb ik het direct ingelijst. Dit is gemaakt op 32 count linnen,  natural brown.
De sterren aan de boven en onderkant zijn geborduurd met metallic garen van dmc.

I have finished Sal de Navidad. I have also framed it immediately. This was made on 32 count linen, natural brown.

The stars at the top and bottom are embroidered with dmc metallic yarn.
